These Model Aircraft was known as the Airbus A3XX during much of its development phase, but the nickname Superjumbo has since become associated with it. The A380‘s upper deck extends along the entire length of the fuselage, and its width is equivalent to that of a widebody  Models Aircraft. This allows for a cabin with 50% more floor space than the next-largest airliner, the Boeing 747-400, and provides seating for 525 people in a typical three-class configuration or up to 853 people in all-economy class configurations.

The A380-800 has a design range of 15,200 km (8,200 nmi), sufficient to fly from New York to Hong Kong for example, and a cruising speed of Mach 0.85 (about 900 km/h or 560 mph at cruising altitude).

Virgin Atlantic B747-400

Virgin Atlantic currently operates twelve Boeing 747-400 in commercial service

The Boeing 747 is a widebody commercial airliner, often referred to by the nickname “Jumbo Jet”. It is among the world’s most recognizable aircraft, and was the first widebody ever produced. Manufactured by Boeing’s Commercial Airplane unit in the US, the original version of the 747 was two and a half times the size of the Boeing 707, one of the common large commercial aircraft of the 1960s. First flown commercially in 1970, the 747 held the passenger capacity record for 37 years.

The four-engine 747 uses a double deck configuration for part of its length. The Boeing 747 in particular was expected to become obsolete after 400 were sold but it exceeded its critics’ expectations with production passing the 1,000 mark in 1993. As of June 2009, 1,416 Model Aircraft have been built, with 107 more in various configurations remaining on order.

The Boeing 747-400, the latest version in service, is among the fastest airliners in service with a high-subsonic cruise speed of Mach 0.85 (567 mph or 913 km/h). It has an intercontinental range of 7,260 nautical miles (8,350 mi or 13,450 km). The 747-400 passenger version can accommodate 416 passengers in a typical three-class layout or 524 passengers in a typical two-class layout. The next version of the aircraft, the 747-8, is in production and scheduled to enter service in 2010.

Boeing 747-100 with Shuttle Orbiter

These Airplane Model are finely handcrafted, and hand painted by our artists – to scale and museum quality.

18 inches in length with custom models available.

The Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (SCA) are two extensively modified Boeing 747 model airliners that NASA uses to transport Space Shuttle Orbiter. One is a 747-100 model, while the other is a short range 747-100SR.

The first aircraft, a Boeing 747-100 registered N905NA, was originally manufactured for American Airlines and still carried visible American side stripes while testing Enterprise in the 1970s. It was acquired in 1974 and initially used for trailing wake vortex research as part of a broader study by NASA model Dryden as well as Shuttle tests involving an F-104 flying in close formation and simulating a “release” from the 747.

The Aircraft Models was extensively modified by Boeing in 1976 Its cabin was stripped, mounting struts added, and the fuselage strengthened; vertical stabilizers were added to the tail to aid stability when the Orbiter was being carried. The avionics and engines were also upgraded, and an escape tunnel system similar to that used on Boeing’s first 747 test flights was added. The flight crew escape tunnel system was later removed following the completion of the Approach and Landing Tests (ALT) due to concerns over possible engine ingestion of an escaping crew member.

The C-5 Galaxy was considered for the shuttle-carrier role by NASA, but rejected in favor of the 747—in part due to the 747′s low-wing design in comparison to the C-5′s high-wing design, and also because the US Air Force would have retained ownership of the C-5, while NASA could own the 747s outright.

Qatar Airways B777-300

Qatar Airways has ordered a total of 27 777 Airplane Model with options for five additional airplanes. Qatar also has ordered 30 787 model Dreamliners and holds 30 options.

The 777-300ER ("ER" for Extended Range) is the B-market version of the -300. It features raked and extended wingtips, a new main landing gear, reinforced nose gear, and extra fuel tanks. The -300ER also has a strengthened fuselage, wings, empennage, and engine attachments. The standard GE90-115B turbofans are the world's most powerful jet engines in service, with a maximum thrust of 115,300 lbf (513 kN). The maximum range is 7,930 nautical miles (14,690 km),[138] made possible due to a higher MTOW along with the increased fuel capacity. The -300ER can fly approximately 34 percent farther than the -300 with a full load of passengers and cargo. Following flight testing, the implementation of engine, wing, and weight modifications produced an added 1.4 percent reduction in fuel consumption.
The first -300ER was delivered to Air France on April 29, 2004. The -300ER ranks as the best-selling 777 Airplane Models variant, having surpassed the -200ER in July 2010, and since its launch the model has been a primary driver of the twinjet's sales past the rival A340. Using only two engines produces a typical operating cost advantage of around 8-9 percent for the -300ER over the A340-600, along with a 20 percent fuel burn advantage over the 747-400. Several airlines have acquired the -300ER as a 747-400 replacement amid rising fuel prices. As of July 2010, -300ER deliveries to 21 different customers were 246, with 186 unfilled orders. Operators had 237 aircraft in service as of July 2010. The -300ER's direct Airbus competitor is the A340-600 model HGW.

The stretched B777-300 was designed as an A-market replacement for 747-100s and 747-200s Airplane Models.Compared to the older 747s, the stretched variant has comparable passenger capacity and range, and is designed to burn one-third less fuel and have 40 percent lower maintenance costs. The -300 features a 33.3 ft (10.1 m) fuselage stretch over the baseline -200, allowing seating for up to 550 passengers in a single class high-density configuration, an arrangement adopted for heavily-trafficked Japanese routes.Because of the aircraft's length, the -300 is equipped with a tailskid and ground maneuvering cameras to aid pilots during taxi. The maximum range is 6,015 nautical miles (11,140 km),allowing the -300 to operate trunk routes previously flown by older B747s.
The first -300 was delivered to Cathay Pacific 777 on May 21, 1998. Eight different -300 customers have taken delivery of 60 aircraft, and all were in airline service as of July 2010. However, following the introduction of the longer-range -300ER in 2004, all operators have selected the ER version of the -300 model. The -300 has no direct Airbus rival, but the A340-600 is offered in competition.

Building the first V Australia 777 Aircraft!

Virgin Blue Airplane Models has placed orders with Boeing to purchase six Boeing 777-300ER Airplane Models for use on international routes.Pending delivery of the six aircraft, V Australia leased its first Boeing 777-300ER from the International Lease Finance Corporation; named Didgeree Blue, it was delivered to V Australia in Seattle at Boeing's headquarters on 26 January 2009. On 9 February Didgeree Blue touched down at Sydney Kingsford-Smith Airport after flying from Seattle via Los Angeles where it was launched to the U.S press by Richard Branson and Australian celebrities Julian McMahon and Holly Valance. V Australia is the second of three airlines to fly the Boeing 777 on the transpacific route between Australia and North America. Air Canada started flying daily flights with the Boeing 777 Airplane Models one year earlier, and Delta Air Lines began Boeing 777 Models services to Sydney from Los Angeles in mid-2009.
